On Saturday morning, March 25th, the day after our 2-day training had ended, we headed off to one of ISF’s schools on the outskirts of Phnom Penh on tuk tuks with Julia Farr from our partner Borussia Dortmund (BvB), the giant of German and European football.
The 3-hour workshop for 20 participants from ISF, including coaches and youth leaders going through their training programme, was also a first: Spirit and BvB combining with a series of short passes to fine effect. Spirit presented The Ball and an energizer. Julia talked about BvB’s sustainability strategy before taking everyone out to the street football court for several fun team building warm-up games and we finished the session by playing Fair Play Football and having everyone sign The Ball.
