The Ball’s night out at the Cavern Club and its near escape

The Ball and its carriers had been on the road for 10 days and needed a night out. What better location for it than the Cavern Club in Liverpool, where the Beatles got their start. A musical epicentre for the Merseybeat of the 60s and a tourist attraction not to be missed. The Ball always comes with us and it didn’t take long before the club’s international ensemble of people from Scotland to Brazil began to sign The Ball. The lead singers of two bands also signed The Ball, one on stage during the rendition of a 90s classic. In all this euphoria, The Ball rolled out of The Ball Bag. Luckily, the Spirit team noticed a flink-footed, well dressed Canadian business man setting off with The Ball on a flink dribble through the club. The team apprehended him on the stairway and came into conversation with him. He, embarrassed by his actions, even ended up signing The Ball.

As the number of signatures on The Ball grows and the stories too, we (The Ball carriers) become increasingly responsible for and worried about The Ball. What would happen if…? It’s not worth thinking about.

One Ball, One World,
