On January 9th 2014, Spirit of Football CIC will kick-off football’s Olympic Torch (The Ball 2014). Aris F.C. fans plan to take part in the kickoff by bringing the blessings of the Greek Gods from Mount Olympus to London with them – in the form of The “Spirit of Aris” Ball, a replica of The Ball 2014.
The Aris F.C. Spirit Ball is making its way around Thessaloniki gathering signatures from the Aris F.C. community. Some of the first to sign were first team players:

A replica of the Brazilian-made 2014 ball went to Thessaloniki, Greece this weekend – to become the Aris F.C. Spirit Ball. It encountered old school football action (including pyro), incredible history, excellent food and genuine, generous hosts. We extend our warmest thanks to Aris F.C and Thessaloniki.
Spirit of Football and Aris F.C. officially annouced the creation of the “Spirit of Aris Ball”. The Ball is a replica of The Ball 2014 and will be used by Aris F.C. to promote the spirit of football in Greece.

Gerard Piqué signs The Barca Spirit Ball. FC Barcelona and Spirit of Football have created a new initiative: ‘The Barça Spirit Ball’. The first team players have recently signed an official Spirit of Football ball, which has just been sent to Brazil, the host nation of the next World Cup in 2014. In 2013 and part of 2014, this ball will travel to more than 100 schools in different parts of Brazil, including education centres in some of the ‘favelas’.
