May 19: The Ball at Deutsche Schule Jakarta: Workshop, Schulfest and signing by Ambassador
On May 19, The Ball visited the German School in Jakarta. We held a workshop on Fairplay and the SDGs with students who were enthusiastic to become the school’s first Green Sustainability Ambassadors. The highlight of the day was playing Fairplay Football in the rain!
On the next day, The Ball was presented at the school festival. We joined Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Borussia Academy’s football clinic and later presented The Ball on stage. Our Green Sustainability Ambassadors shared their sustainability pledges with the school assembly.
Thank you to the German Embassy for supporting the DSJ hosting of The Ball. We are also very excited that German Ambassador Ina Lepel joined the Schulfest, did a header on stage and signed The Ball and made a pledge.
