After the craziness and the intense pollution of Hanoi, our somewhat exhausted team was excited to head off to the historical ancient capital of Hue and to pastures greener and fresher. To get there, we needed to take a 13 hour overnight sleeper train, where we enjoyed a 4 bed cabin, arriving at 9am in the fresh air of spring time. We headed for the hue Eco Lodge, 8 kms outside of Hue. Our ever smiling driver delivered us to the Eco Lodge’s front gate, where he gleefully signed The Ball.
