Birmingham County FA are the regional governing body for football in the West Midlands responsible for administering, governing & delivering a safe and inclusive game that can be accessed by all. In June 2021 we launched the first of its kind sustainability programme for grassroots football aligned to the UN’s Sustainability Development Goals with the ambitious aim to create a low carbon, greener game.
Spirit of Football & Birmingham County FA’s shared core values around equality, inclusion, diversity and sustainability are intrinsically linked, and we are privileged to be working closely with them on the One Ball project. Together by harnessing the power and reach of grassroots football and by educating our workforce we believe we can empower and engender clubs & teams to help create a better game for our planet & people.
