The LMMA had a surprise for The Ball and its carriers. They told us about the legendary champion Fiji Sevens Rugby Team that had won the nation’s first ever Olympic gold medals – a soure of immense national pride. A secret to their success was intensive training sessions on the sand dunes of Sigatoka, where they would sprint up and down the sandy slopes to train their legs. It was at these sand dunes that we met players from Nadroga – the Fijian national champion rugby team. They ran a few passing routines with The Ball. We thought about giving them yellow cards for handball but they were just too nice for that. They pledged to use their star profiles to
