It’s 11 p.m., a delay of 5 hours. Our energy level has reached the zero point. The ferry is overfilled, hardly any seats are left, the noise hardly bearable.
Once more The Ball becomes the centre of attention. Young people from England, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are happy about the change and engage in headers and interesting conversations about Europe. We start to fear for The Ball, that someone could just kick it over the railing. So we go inside and treat ourselves to a large glass of cider. Mhh! Delicious!
The two hyper-active balls of energy Benni and Andrew still haven’t had enough and spend their time with juggling tricks and a large crowd of people gathers around the budding circus performers. Another aspect of the Ball-Phenomenon!
One Ball !

Arrival in Calais – summer-time change! One stolen hour! Great! At 4 at night we arrive in Eupen, totally knackered and fall into our 4-star beds! Another 2 hours and the alarm rings – how I hate that sound!
