The project “Casa Futebol” proposes alternative usage for the stadiums renovated or built for the 2014 World Cup. The ideas, although seemingly unrealistic open up the debate: What can be done with these stadiums? How can future stadiums be truly multi purpose arenas? How can they become spaces where people can live and work, community space for meetings, education, sport, health, places for art and culture. The modern stadium is very expensive, seldom used and taking up a lots of valuable space. How can the failed stadium concept be fixed?

This new Germany is creative, tolerant and exciting just like the national team itself. Now is the time to celebrate this new Germany and say NO to racism.
