With their signatures on The Ball, they have made a promise for supporting more gender equality.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Megan Rapinoe, who has been voted the world&#8217;s best player several times, is not only a true role model thanks to her outstanding sporting achievements, but also through her commitment to gender equality, diversity and acceptance on and off the football pitch.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1040\" height=\"585\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/iMyqk_IHlOA?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-GB&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>She represents goals and values that are also championed by The Ball 2023, which was produced fairly in Kenya by our partner Alive and Kicking. The Ball is travelling to the FIFA Women&#8217;s World Cup for the first time ever. Spirit of Football is also advocating for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The USWNT&#8217;s statement of suport helps us focus on SDG No.5: &#8220;Gender Equality&#8221;.
