But the Easter weekend is ahead and we hadn\u2019t counted on this! Near London we miss our exit twice and the traffic jams become endless.<\/p>\n<p>The mood plummets.<\/p>\n<p>Everyone is hungry.<\/p>\n<p>Finally a stop! A gas station!<\/p>\n<p>Lunch at English \u201eTeatime\u201c? We don\u2019t give a damn, as long as there is a toilet, and food &#8211; we stock up an exorbitant supply of sweets and other edibles. <\/p>\n<p>Sugar shock! The adrenalin rises again.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Strengthened, we play at guessing songs and bawl out our tunes in the shrillest tones imaginable. The traffic jam just won\u2019t end! Boredom. Silly ideas crop up. What do you do when you\u2019re in a traffic jam for 12 hours? People start to get crazy. Suddenly the Ball is gone. Where is The ball? Where is Martin?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Frisch gest\u00e4rkt spielen wir Liederraten und gr\u00f6llen in den sch\u00f6nsten und schrillsten T\u00f6nen unsere Lieder! Wir stehen ewig im Stau! Langeweile! Dummheiten im Kopf. Was macht man, wenn man 12 Std im Stau steht?? People starts to get crazy. Pl\u00f6zlich war <strong>The Ball<\/strong> weg. Where is <strong>The ball<\/strong>? Wo ist der Ball?? Wo ist Martin?<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"660\" height=\"372\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_otPqeIygRw?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-GB&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Martin had snatched the Ball, hopped out of the bus and was running away with The Ball. A new category in the entertainment sector \u201eWhere is The Ball?\u201d has emerged.<br \/>\nFinally arrived in Dover, we are standing in long queues waiting to get onto the ferry decks. To pass the time, Benny entertains other bored car occupants, plays with The Ball and gathers signatures. Our fellow-waiters in the queue are glad about the diversion.
