The Ball

Every four years, a legendary football The Ball makes the journey from Battersea Park, London (where the very first FA-rules football match was played) to the Opening Ceremony of the Football World Cup. In doing so, it enriches the competition with a symbol that matches the spirit of the Olympic Flame.
